TSM can be run on either Windows or AIX clusters (not sure about other flavours of UNIX)
In the UNIX (AIX) Admin Guide Appendix A is all about running TSM in a HACMP cluster and it works because I have implemented it.
I'm guessing there will be similar in the Windows admin guide.
we are running tsm 5.5 in a windows 2003 cluster. But failover means shutting down the tsm and then starting it again. Running processes (admin scripts etc.) and active sessions (transmitting data) will be killed, idle sessions (opened client) won't take notice of the failover.
