expire prediction

Guys,

I would like to know how much data (GB) that will expire in TSM within a week or so. Is this possible?

Why do I want this?
- If I have few tapes or are low on disk I would like to know how much data that will free up in a near feture.
- Or if I am planing a migration I would like to know how much data that will exipre in a couple of days/week so that I can prioritize long term data and maybe leave short term data on old tapes/storage.

I don't think you can narrow it down and call it a science.

At best, it would be estimates or guesses based on retention settings. The problem here is how to determine which chuck of data has been backed up on certain days, and when they are set to expire. A twist to this is that not all of these data expires at the same time as not all have been updated, deleted, etc.
