EXCLUDE FILES

I would like to exclude *.ldf and *.mdf from being backed up.



In the DSM.OPT dile I have put the following lines:



EXCLUDE "*.ldf"

EXCLUDE "*.mdf"

 

[may]

It should work better like this



EXCLUDE "*:\...\*.ldf"

EXCLUDE "*:\...\*.mdf"





I think you really got to have a look on the Admin Guide...

'cause the Include, Exclude parameter is the base of TSM and they are very Dangerous for you production if you miss use them...
