Exchange backup - says stores not mounted

I have a 64bit windows 2008 server with exchagne 2007. I installed baclient version 5.5 and it works fine. To backup my exchange a have tried both the 5.4.x and at the moment it is version 5.5 of the exchange agent on the server. Every time I start the exchange gui backup client I get the following error: ACN5241E The mirsoft exchange information store is currently not running. Can't find anythink on ACN5241E and the store is mounted!!
Dsierror is empty.
Any good ideas??

Go to TDP Directory in Command line

C:\Tivoli\tsm\tdpExch>Tdpexcc Query Exchnage

Gives the output the Stores are mounted Online or offline

Check with Exchange Administrator whether Information Store service is Running and other related services are Running

Also try running the GUI as a user which has admin access to Exchange.
