Hi,

despite exchange 2010 being backupless, it's still recommended to do backups:

Backupless by having multiple database copies stored on DAG members. ( backups are still recommended in order to go back in time to restore deleted items )

As it is officially released now, when will the TDP for Mail be availabel for Exchange 2010? Anyone knows? As it appears there is only a rename of some routines in Windows/Exchange preventing the current TDP from functioning properly...? I can't really find anything on this subject.

due for release for 2nd quarter this year and possibly/probably only for tdp V6. As exch 2010 no longer supports legacy backups we'll have some testing to do when it is released

Yes TDP for Exchange 2010 is currently supporting using VSS
