Errro ACO5422E - Full text not support in Express

I need to get solid TDPSQL backups of databases in SQL Server Express. When I try to run full backup (in the client or script) I get the following error for each database.


04/30/2009 09:14:21 Backup of SQL Database TESTDATA will not be attempted.
04/30/2009 09:14:21 ACO5422E Received the following from the MS SQL server:
04/30/2009 09:14:21 Full-text is not supported on this edition of SQL Server. (HRESULT:0x80131500)

How can Iget a good backup with Express?

What TDP for SQL version are you running on?

Hi,
To find out the problem can you test doing a manual backup with the GUI?
And a manual SQL standard backup to disk. If you don't have enough disk space try backing up just the master DB.

Hi, did you solve this issue, I just upgraded to TSM 5.5.2 Client and TDP 5.5.2 and I am getting the exact same messages, when I try to open the TDP Client GUI and click on the databases.

I recently got exactly this error message when uninstalling SQL Server 2000 Std and installing 2005 Express.

Upgraded TSM BAC to 5.5.2.2 and TDP to 5.5.3.0 and, without so much as a reboot, backups started working again (remember to always stop the TSM Client Acceptor before upgrading the BAC).
