Hello,
I was wondering if it was possible to redirect the output of "q event" into a file and then have that file emailed daily to us admins.
Basically, what we want is a daily report/status update of how our Exchange backups are doing. I've been looking at server options for this such as using bmail to send the contents of the tsm logfile, redirecting the contents of that log file to a text file etc. However none seem to be very practical.
If anyone has any tips on backup completion emails, please let me know, it would be very appreciated. We are also looking at TSM Operations Center, and what kind of daily alerts/reporting that has.
Thanks for your help and suggestions in advance!
