Hi all,
I have a customer running EKM (presumably v2.1) on a WinXP pro system, and they want to get that moved over to a SKLM instance running on Win12 server. After careful research, it looks like the upgrade path would have me upgrading from EKM to TKLM v2.0 or v2.0.1 on the existing WinXP pro system. Of course, that's an unsupported configuration for TKLM, but is it even possible to install TKLM on a WinXP pro system. My understanding of this process is that you only need to upgrade to TKLM on the existing box in order to be able to export the keys and get them pulled over to the new system. If I can do that successfully on this WinXP system, I believe the rest of the process should be fairly straightforward.
