DSMCAD on LINUX client

How do I make Dsmcad up and running all the time on the Redhat Linux client system.

Dsmcad does not start when the system is booted. It has to be manually started.

Any suggestions ? I am not getting any help from Linux administrators. Please help me. Thanks in advance !!!

Hi,

copy your start script ( or create one) in /etc/init.d and use the runlevel-editor.

Add the following entry into the system startup file (/etc/inittab):



tsmcad:nce:/usr/bin/dsmcad > /dev/null 2>&1 # TSM Client Acceptor Daemon
