dsmc.exe fails but not dsm.exe

I can't figure out why the gui version of the BA client works on my laptop to connect to the TSM server, but the command line doesn't work. Anything special needs to be setup on the dsm.opt? Can the server overide me issuing command line incremental backup?

No it can't. Must be something else (wrong dsm.opt being addressed, some funny option used with the "icon" you run dsm/dsmc on or whatever).
