DSMC & DSMCAD

Hi TSMer's



I'm working on a Novell cluster, Can anyone tell me what is the relationship between DSMC and DSMCAD?



If we load DSMCAD with optfile specified for the cluster backups

(renaming DSMCAD for each instance), will this then autoload/unload

DSMC as needed?

DSMCAD is the web client/scheduler. At the appointed time, it autoloads DSMC, which is the process actually doing the backup. Once completed, DSMC unloads. I couldn't tell you how to do a cluster correctly, since we don't have that to deal with..
