How can I invoke dsmadmc command from a NT/2K client ? It seem the exe file is not available unlike unix client. Please let me know if I can execute server commands from NT/2K client.

To execute server commands from NT/2K client do the following:

1- Telnet: to login on the server.

2- Commands:

c:\>cd Program Files\tivoli\tsm\console

c:\Program Files\tivoli\tsm\console>wzrdhlpr.exe -id=admin -pa=admin.

fcvasco.

Thanks for your reply. But there is no file/dir called "console*" available under C:\Program Files\tivoli\tsm. Any more thoughts.

The file/dir "console", is available just on the server environment. You need to login on the server to execute server commands.

Hello

dsmadmc.exe is not part of the "Typical" client setup.

(At least not in TSM 5.X)

Try reinstalling with "Custom" and look for "Administrative Client....".
