drive state unknown

hi, i have tsm 6.1 on windows 2003 enviroment, the tsm lib need ateention , and my two drives are online but one of them is state:unknown
i check the drive path but it is offline , i try to bring it online again but i have an I/O error.

please any one can help about this.

Have you tried swapping the fiber cables between drives? If this work, then you have a faulty fiber cable, or if you have two Fiber HBA for each drive then one is faulty. Otherwise, might be drive failure for which you need to call your Service guy.
