Download TSM 6.3.4 with passport advantage

Hello everybody,

I have one question i enter my ID IBM and Password for my passport advantage and after i don't find where to download tsm 6.3.4 (with the license module) i have installed a tsm 6.3.4 from the FTP Ibm but i don't have the license module.
So where are the download for the TSM 6.3.4 installation or just for the TSM 6.3.4 License module.

Bonjour,

On the download page (http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=663&uid=swg21239415), if you scroll half way down, there is a section for PA downloads. 6.3.3 is listed there, but if you follow the link inside it says 6.3.4. Not sure which one is correct. Inside the doc though, there is also the package names, so you could try to search for those instead and also for 6.3.3 instead of 6.3.4.

If you have no luck, you might have to contact Passport Advantage Support, the link is at the botton of their page: http://www-01.ibm.com/software/howtobuy/passportadvantage/pao_customers.htm

Finally, the license package is the same for all 6.3.x versions, so if you have the 6.3.0 server package, you can install just the license package from it along with your 6.3.4 server.

Hi Mickael,

That document is one of the links from the download page I was referring to. I did not know if you were on Windows or Unix, so that was going to cover both.

According to that document, you should be able to download 6.3.4 from PA, assuming your ID is entitled for it. Did you try searching by the part number listed? It's CIM4AML.

Sorry, I'm a techie and don't know much about that either. Last time I had access to Passport Advantage was in 2003. I suspect it might be your customer number, but not sure.

I suggest you contact Passport Advantage support and/or find the person in your organization responsible for software purchase and see if they are registered with PA and if they can give you access.

Hi,

I found a solution i have the version 6.2.1.1-TIV-TSMALL-WindowsX64 and the license module was in, i installed him and do a reg licen and now that working.

Hmmm,

Not sure how well that will work. You are using a 6.2 license with a 6.3 version. If you do an "audit license", followed by a "query license", does it come up as valid?

Installed on the new TSM server (one error for the deployement engine corrected with delete the lock file in log seen here http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/t...m.itsm.tshoot.doc/r_pdg_dployengine_init.html )

The license is valide and the audit is ok too.
