Dirmc to a dedicated tape storage pool.

I have read in earlier posts that using the dirmc command to a disk storage pool helps make the restore time quicker. I was just curious if anyone was using a tape storage pool for directory information. I would like to know any possible pit falls in doing it this way.

Its possible. However, you´ll have more tape mounts, when you have to do a backup!

I think that is not better for you!!
