Hi all,
I've got a new TSM 6 server up and running, and I'm currently trying to create a procedure to move existing DB2 servers over to the new system. So far, I've defined the policy domain, management class, storage pools, and a test node for the DB2 system. DB2 is running on AIX, so I have a node named ERS2007 for my AIX backups, and another named ERS2007_SAP for the DB2 backups. I have been able to successfully do a full DB backup to my new TSM server by modifying the dsm.sys file to point to the new server, but I can't get DB2 to archive its logs to my new server. The error I keep getting in db2diag.log is RC=137, which I understand to mean bad password. So, my question is, where is it storing this password, and how do I reset it for the log archiving? My opt file has passwordaccess=generate, and I know I'm using the right password when I run the full db backup since its working, but the logs fail to archive.
