1.wht is the procedure(steps) and command to extend database size for
existing database in TSM ver 5.4?

2. TDP over view?

3. Lan free bkp overview?

TSM database:

See "help define dbvolume", and "help define logvolume".
See "help extend dbvolume", and "help extend logvolume".

TDP:Tivoli Data Protection

TSM mechanism for backing up live databases.

LAN Free:

SAN to Tape backup - does not pass through the local area network. TSM must have SAN access, or TSM is part of the SAN Fabric. This also means that a path exist between the SAN and Tape drives.

Ideal for backing up HUGE files.
