Data Protection for VMware on TSM server

If I have TSM server installed on windows machine, is it possible to install Data Protection for VMware client on the same machine?
If possible, what do you think about that setup, in small/medium TSM environment?

The most recommended setting is to built a new proxy machine then install the TDP for VMware and integrate with TSM server. Proxy server is nothing but the communicator between TSM and Vcenter.

Senti is correct. Technically possible, but not recommended, the performance will suffer greatly. Seen it in action, it was slow. They had to split it.
