Cyclic backup

Hello to all. Sorry for my english, but i try to explane.

I need to do a cyclic backup, where i can configure it.
I have a nas server (ibm n 5200) & libraty managin by NDMP.
ie i want that the new data overwrite oldest data.
any ideas???

Set the backup to backup always and don't keep any inactive copies - meaning versions=0 and inactive=0

Just be sure this is what you want.

I wont to rewrite old data, and i wont to do the backup every 7 days.
 
define a managment class with a backup copygroup
adn put this values : vere=0 rete=0 verd=0 reto=0

But are you sure don't need the older versions, etc... ?

Hi, yes i`m sure, my backup start at Friday and finish at thu, i wont to do "ring", also i have a another one package of tapes. And old tape i put in safe.

If i use the TOC this will be work correctly?
