I have a request to provide a client download that will install on a windows desktop with all options preset and unchangeable. Management wishes to backup 1000 desktops, but ONLY the My Documents folders on each machine. They wish the user to be able to install the client and not be able to change any options.
I tried using the server side client option set but if I understand correctly the incl/excl statement in the client option set(5.2) can always be over-ridden by the client. Force does not apply to incl/excl client options ?
So my problem is how do I force the client to not be able to override the server side incl/excl options, or how do I change the install to have certain options that the user can't change?
Any thoughts/help would be appreciated!!
