creating virtual tapes.

Hi,

I am really new to tsm . i was out of scratch tapes in my edl virtual library . i created some new tapes . and now i labeled the tapes and i was trying to check them in as scratch . when i tried checking them in it said the volume is already checked in . and when i did q vol it said no match found using this criteria . Can anyone please tell me where am i going wrong .

Sapphire,

Double check the vol ser range and make sure the new EDL tapes you created is not the same volume number...

i wasnt using the correct checkin command . i got it . thanks for the quick reply.
