Compatibility between TSM 5.4 and Oracle 8i

I will wish to know if there is compatibility between TSM 5.4 and Oracle 8i.

Oracle 8i introduces the limitation especially if its the 32 bit version. The platform and OS supporting the DB also falls into consideration. Give us a picture of your environment so we can make the correct recommendations to you.
Also ask your Oracle DBA when they are planning on upgrading to at least Oracle 9 64 bit.
