To install..
You need to make sure your library and drives are discovered correctly in the OS, in the console dir, enter: tsmdlst
You will need the output of this command to define that paths. The Library and Drives are just names, the paths to these names is where the intelligence lies.
In TSM, enter:-
Define Library <name> libtype=scsi autolabel=yes
Give it any name, eg: TS3200.
You then need to define the library path:
Define path <servername> <libraryname> srct=server destt=libr device=lbx.x.x.x (the lb number is taken from the output of tsmdlst).
Repeat this process for the drives
register drive
define path etc.....
Then test the library with a db backup when you have scratch tapes in.
