Hello,

I do not exactly understand 'Checkthresholds' option in dsm.sys file.

If I gave

checkthresholds 60

in dsm.sys file,

I think migration should occur at least 50 ~60 minutes later when dsmmonitor daemon

checks whether the disk space exceeded the given high thresholds at the given interval.

In my case, migration occurs within 1 or 2minutes even if I specify checkthresholds

option large enough (say 2500). I don't know why it occurs so fast.

My file system still have some space so that demand migration would not occur.

Am I misunderstanding anything? Thanks. :sad:

The CheckThresholds parameter is defined as:

Frequency of space monitor daemon checks on space usage on file system ( in minutes)



Your understanding is correct, that dsmmonitor would check every hour.



Did you restart dsmmonitord ?
