Hi, I've just restored the database from DR tapes (snapshot) and realized that after resuming all operations no shceduled sessions are allowed. Regular dsmc/dsmj/tdp client are allowed, but scheduled sessions are not.
I get the ANR2571W SCHEDULED SESSION DENIED error message in act log, and google finds this explanation: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg1IC37588
It almost fits, but it is about old 5.2 and 5.1 versions, I'm running 5.5.4.2. and sh csvars does not show that scheduled sessions are exhausted.
What i foud suspicoius is the line in q stat:

Central Scheduler: Disabled

I had no ieda that it could be disabled, and I have no idea how to reenable it.
Just in case I did "accept date" and "enable sessions all".

Make sure this is not in your dsmserv.opt file...
disablescheds yes

Or set it to "no" or comment it out. I like to leave mine as "yes" and comment it out. That way when I upgrade a server and want to start/restart the server without schedules starting, it's easier to remember to disable the scheduler while I'm doing that.

After your change, restart TSM server.
