Can you install TSM 5.2 client on an AIX 4.3 client

I need to upgrade 3 of my TSM BA clients that run on AIX 4.3 to at least TSM BA client ver 5.2



I have read where the TDP for Oracle 5.2 client will work with AIX 4.3, but have been unable to find out any information regarding the BA client.



(I'm assuming that the BA client will work since the TDP for Oracle client will, but you know what happens when you assume)



Just wonderin if this will work OK.

Since Oracle is bound to 5.2.2.0 - I believe you are limited to at least the same TSM client version. Do a compatibility check against the OS - I am thinking earlier versions of 5.2 but no more.

Can check the readme file for the TSM B/A Client that you want to upgrade to, it have information of what version of the operating system that is supported.

If the version is not listed, its not supported.
