Bizzaare backupset restore

hello admins,

last i coul'd not restore a backupset ( many tries). i am hopeless.
no messages in the actlog
sessions of the retore just start, volumes are mounted and dismounted and sessions stay then freezd and no data is downloaded from the volumes.

can anybody helps? is there special messages to look for for seeing progress of a running backupset restore?

How logn do you wait before you can cel the process?

The backupset restore can take a long time to restore.
