I have a question, not sure if anybody has run accross this one in the past. We have just converted our tape library from a 3494 to a 3584 (LTO) and I was able to migrate all of the tape pools to the new media without any issues. The problem I am running into now is the migration of our old backupsets. We have about 2 years worth of backupsets floating around in our offsite vault and will need to find some way of getting these guys onto our new media. Within a few months we will be losing our dedicated 3590 drives that were used for this purpose in the past. Does anyone know of a method for performing this without restoring the backupsets and rerunning them into the new device class????
