Hi all
I am planning a 3 Node Exchange 2013 DAG installation.
I see , that the backup option /PREFERDAGPASSIVE exist, which will backup only the passive database (if it's healthy)
On my installation i have more than one passive database, this means, that Server 1 has active database "DB1" and Server 2 and 3 has the passive database of "DB1". Server 2 has the active database "DB2" and Server 1 and 3 has the passive database of "DB2" .
i schedule now on every server the backup with option /PREFERDAGPASSIVE.
How will TSM (or Exchange) realize if the database already backed up (for example: on server 2 the backup of passive database "DB2" is already done, i dont want a backup on server 3 of this database "DB1". ?
I want only one backup of the two passive database. How is the correct configuration for this situation? is the option /MINIMUMBACKUPINTERVAL an option for this? Any ideas
Thanks for your help
