Hi all did any one of you know a solution to get data back from the next storage pool ?

Few times ago my primary stgpool was full and data partialy gone to the next. Now i have filesets wich are on the primary and partialy on the next storage pool.

Is there a solution to "migrate" it back to primary only ?

Note: that's an old TSM 5.2

Thank's for any solution

As i saw, move data can only move a volume from a storagepool to another, not only a specific filespace

Correct. You won't be able to do it by filespace. Unless you collocate by filespace, in which case each volume should only contain one filespace anyway.

I am new to TSM and was wondering about moving data from one pool to antoher. I think this process is what I need but I want to make sure I understand so here is my scenario.

I have a disk pool called SPPool and it is setup to go to a tape pool Tape_Mig. I am getting more disk for the SPPool and I want to move all the data in the Tape_Mig pool back to the SPPool. If I understand this thread and the Help Move Data, I should be able to run the following against each tape in the Tape_Mig pool:

move data migvol01 stgpool=SPPool

Is that correct or should I be doing something else?
