BA Client for OS/400 - config question

Has anyone successfully implemented TSM client on OS/400?



I just "installed" the API client and set the environment variables. If you wouldn't mind send me your dsm.opt and dsm.sys off of your OS/400 and let me know how you run your backup using the API.

I implemented in our dev environment to see of what use it was. It does about 8MB/sec to my brand new Power520s (less than a year old) attached to 1.5TB of SATA-SAN disk (extremely striped for performance)





The verdict? not going to cut the mustard. Tooooooooooo slow.



If they pumped the performance up to useable levels, I would dive into it headfirst.
