Can we get script(shell or windows) for below mentioned activities on TSM:

Backup failure Troubleshooting
Capacity reporting Monthly
Provide Tape/Tape drive /VTL/server usage utilization reports
Generate customized Performance Monitoring Reports as per demand Eg: Backup occupancy of particular server
Simple Data restore
Configure backup software, client, agent (file system level)
Virtual and Physical Onsite / Offsite data/tape management
Creating and updating Backup Policies/schedules
Decommission of backups
Capacity Planning
Performance Tuning
Backup License Management

Thanks in advance...

All of those have been posted here are some time or the other. Search through the site and find them and then make a script that executes them, or use the newer TSM Management console, or buy a third party tool.

Kindly share, If any one having existing scripts in his scope which align to the above mentioned activities..

The idea is to align our existing scripts against the functional stack activities *and* also to cover some ground if we have existing scripts, so that we can build upon those instead of starting from scratch.

You obviously did not understand my point. You are basically asking for the community to do your work. Search the site and find the scripts that best suit your needs and prepare the script/menu yourself. YOU best understand what type of reports and tasks you need so its best for YOU to find the information that is out there. GOOGLE is a great resource to search and find the things that might not be in this list serv but by no means should you as an "experienced" admin ever ask a community for such an extensive request.

Sangram,

This request is by no means a small feat.

This requires days of work just to get one item done. As an example, scripts for capacity planning is not easy to come up with and is mostly tailor-fitted for the environment it is modelling. I spent about three weeks in total work or 120 man-hours to come up with a capacity dashboard that spits out charts and graphs every first of the month. Would I share this with someone, heck NO! It is not because this is rocket science or an invention; it is because it was tailor-fitted for the environment it was designed for. To make it generic would take another 3 weeks of work. To even explain how the dashboard is generated is also a complex undertaking.

Do research and provided you have the advanced skills needed, you can piece together what you wanted.
