Anyway to Stop the L1 Tape Designation From Being Read From the Barcode?

Our TSM server was recently updated to TSM 5.1.9, and it seems that anytime a tape is added to our automated library, the L1 which is at the end of our bar code now gets read. Before the bar code would consist of the fist six characters, but now the entire eight character bar code is read.



Is there any setting in Tivoli that instructs the bar code reader in the library to register the first six characters as in the TSM 5.1.5

The library has remained the same? I know that the 3584 has a parameter that you can set via the front panel to define how much of the barcode is read.
