Hello,

we get the following error message while performing full Backup via. TDPO Client.

TSM actlog:
04/19/2012 00:54:21 ANR0534W Transaction failed for session 100012 for node
ORATDPO_NODE (DP Oracle Win32) - size estimate exceeded
and server is unable to obtain additional space in
storage pool SDISKB01. (SESSION: 100012)

According to the customer the Database is very big about 1,5 TB.
For me as a TDPO noob :) is the Database size to big for the SDISKB01 Pool, if the File is sent as one piece. Please give me tutoring in TDPO. thx.

TDPO Error Message:
During database backup regularly encountering error: ANS1311E (RC11) Server out of data storage space.

Greetings from Germany.

Try increasing the maximum file size , upd stgp SDISKB01 MAXSIze=xxx

If the file is too big for the first stg pool, it will goto the next (STAPEB01). Make sure STAPEB01 has sufficient space (maxsi=nolimit) and/or enough free tapes.

Thx for help, but the next storage pool is set to no limit and the library have 43 scratch Tapes. i think the problem is caused by the TDPO. Any other ideas ?!

How many tape drives do you have available. If the tdpo sends 3 streams of data, you will need to have 3 tape drives available, and the number of mountpoints for the node needs to be 3.

The TSM Server have 4 Drives. Today we updated the TSM and TDPO Client, maybe this helps.
