All,

Running TSM 5.2.2.3 on Win2k (SP4)

Just in the last three days I've been getting the following error message in the TSM Server event log:

TSM Server Diagnostic: ANR9999D: ADSM Exception Information: file = pkthread.c, line = 2253,Code = c0000005, Address = 101AC2F4

Attempt to read data at address d570000~

The messages as they're logged are identical except for the "read data at" address.

Also at intermittent intervals, I can't access the Web admin GUI, or bring up the CLI on the server itself. I get ANS1017E and the related ANS8041E errors saying "session rejected, TCP/IP connection failure" -- at the server itself!

It seems clear to me the ANR and ANS errors are related. I've done a re-install/ repair of the TSM server, rebooted, but it doesn't seem to help.

Any further ideas would be appreciated.

Oh, another thing,

the server keeps re-initializing. The activity log is full of messages "license manager started", "The TCP/IP driver is ready for connections", "HTTP driver is ready for connections"and "server initialization is complete". This plays heck with scheduled jobs .
