Hello everybody. I have in a strange situation. My client is Win2008 and client's TSM CAD starts scheduler only at first time. But the next time it doesn't start it. So I have to restart it manually and only in this way it will serve the second schedule that is in a prompted mode.
Can't really understand the way to resolve this problem.

TSM server and TSM client are at the latest version. Take a look:

any errors in your dsmsched/dsmwebcl/dsmerror.log or in the windows eventlog?

I don't see any error. In dsmsched.log I see that scheduler (after manula restart) work with schedule normally and stops to wait for the next server prompt. Here is log from dsmsched.log:

Just curious about the above in red; why is the node complaining that there is no schedule returned? Do you have the backup scheduled?

As you may see the TSM server says just after completing a schedule. And it is only first schedule that client did after TSM Client Schedule service was restarted. Further I run manually on the TSM server a schedule for this client. And this second schedule doesn't start on the client. And I can see no changes in dsmsched.log file. Only messages ANR8213W appear in the TSM server's event log.

Hi,
Did you try on schedmode in polling mode? Maybe you can try this polling mode, worried some firewall issue course the prompted mode wouldn't run.

Thanks

I prefer to use prompted mode. Because it is more clear and you really know when your schedule will be started. But I will try a polling mode today.
