Another DB restore question...

My TSM server (v5.5 on AIX) has LOTs of DB volumes as we have grown over time. I do a full DB backup. When I restore, to a new server, do I have to match the DB volumes in numbers and sizes? Or can I just create/format new DB volumes and ensure the overall capacity is the same? Trying to clean this up as I go.

Hi,

you do not need to keep the original layout. As you said - the only limitation is that the new DB/RLOG volumes total capacity must be at least the same size as the original.
