AIX TSM restore

I want to perform an AIX TSM DR scenario. I am going to restore the OS from the AIX NIM server but i need to restore the TSM server code and patches and the device drivers on the DR LPAR.

How can i tell where the TSM server code is? and similarly where the device drivers are?

If i can find out where these are i can back them up on the NIM....

if your tsm installation path is included on the mksysb backups , it will be restored too... if you use default installation path (/usr/tivoli) it's included by default. but if you define some filesystem like /tivoli you'll need to include it

I believe that in addition to the OS and patches I need to backup 1. TSM code and patches and 2. device drivers.

TSM code installed to /usr/tivoli/tsm/server/bin

and

device drivers installed to /usr/tivoli/tsm/devices/bin
/etc/drivers
/etc/methods

Now these are the default install directories - but can i verify that we have installed to these?

/etc and /usr included by default on mksysb backups... check the /etc/exclude.rootvg if a filesystem or directory not listed in here it's included... and after the restore an image from NIM, you don't need anything to do... it will work on first reboot
