i found the below error while i start the TDP gui for backup

ACO5422E Received the following from the MS SQL Server
Could not load file or assembly' Microsoft.sqlServer.BatchParser, Version=9.0.242.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=89845dcd8080cc91' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. .....
I have check all the prereq. that you mentioned.
My TSM BA client version is 5.5.3 and my TDP for SQL is version 5.5.1


I checked all the prereqs:
Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0 (or later)
Microsoft Core XML Services (MSXML) 6.0 (or later)
Microsoft SQL Server Native Client
Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Management Objects Collection"

Can you connect to the SQL admin tools with the account that you are using to run the backup?

The local system account is used to run the TSM Scheduler Client service. This account is also used to start the DB service.

Is it a new installation? or suddenly stopped working.

Have you tried reinstalling the prerrequisites???

Check that SQL Server code is properly installed as a corrupted installation i.e. dealing with a workstation or native client conflict will create this error. SQL2005 32 bit on a 2003 64 bit server I would also install 5.5.2 TDP to keep the API at the same level - as there is a API difference between 5.5.1 and 5.5.2/3 -

Also, have you tried upgrading the client to 6.1??? I had to do it because woldn't backup or do a restore on the databases

Check if the dsierror has an error, and please post it.
