We have a 3583 single drive fibre attach to a McData, connected to a single x445 running Windows 2000, with Control Path enable on the drive. Qlogic fibre card, tape support enabled.
I see devices fine in Tivoli, both the lb and mt, library and drive online. I can label my media fine with the labeling wizard.
When I do a CHECKIN LIBVOL, I am prompted to enter the tape. The tape is moved from the mail slot to the drive, the error occurs and the tape is returned to the mail slot. CC=0 KEY=00 ASC=00 and ASCQ=00. About six lines of SENSE DATA is produced.
Both devices are using the IBM Ultirum driver.
