I am new to the forum, and I am having a terrible time. We are moving from an AIX tsm server attached to a dd560 using NFS. Works great. I have built a new Dell 2950 dual quad core server with win 2003 R2. Using Cifs to attach to the dd560. When I write files to the ddr from a file device class, I keep getting write errors from TSM. ANR8503E A failure occurred in writing to volume
\\DDR3_ETH2\BACKUP\COURTHOUSE\TSM\TSM2\DDR3-ETH2\0000000-
8.BFS. (SESSION: 6)
ANR1411W Access mode for volume
\\DDR3_ETH2\BACKUP\COURTHOUSE\TSM\TSM2\DDR3-ETH2\0000000-
8.BFS now set to "read-only" due to write error.
(SESSION: 6)
ANR0514I Session 6 closed volume
\\DDR3_ETH2\BACKUP\COURTHOUSE\TSM\TSM2\DDR3-ETH2\0000000-
8.BFS. (SESSION: 6)

I am quite frustrated, as it works fine from AIX, but this box can't do anything. Anybody run across this issue before? Thanks

Howdy... Did you ever get a response for figure out what the issue is/was with this error? We're experiencing the same thing using file devclass from a windows TSM server to a datadomain
