That seems a bit confusing.

Are you saying you're launching the Java Console on the RHEL5.6 server
and it is being displayed via the tunnel back on your Windows
workstation?   Or are you launching the NBU Java GUI on your Windows
workstation and telling it to connect to the RHEL5.6 server?  

The confusion may be that you aren't aware that there is a tool you can
install on your Windows desktop to connect with the server as opposed to
launching the one from the server and displaying back to your desktop.

We've used the Windows desktop client for years to connect to various
versions of NBU on UNIX/Linux from 3.4 up through 7.1.

I am currently running Veritas Netbackup 6.5 on Red Hat Linux 5.6 but I
am using the Java Console on a Windows box. The way I've been taught to
connect to the server is by running a tunnel session with Putty and than
running the console. For the most part it works just fine, however when
I get to the Host Properties and Double Click on Master Server it shows
Localhost as the host and fails, is there a configuration file which I
place my Windows Client Box information to, thank you.
