All,

  In Netbackup 4.5 through 5.1 you could copy the Netbackup
%installpath%\volmgr\database, %installpath%\Netbackup\var and
%installpath%\Netbackup\db\media folders for a media server off the
server and if the media server in question need rebuilt it would only
require the initial Netbackup server installation and the copying over
of these folders to get the media server back in business.
  Is there such a method in 6.5? I know about catalog backups and their
importance and diligently running them and the EMM database changes on
the master but when a tape drive change is made to a media server the
device manager service is required to be restarted so there must be a
comparable folder with the information necessary on media servers. I
must be missing an a manual as I can't find any specifics on this that
were indicated in the 4.5 and 5.1 manuals.
