It has 2 options. The first media type is disk and that goes to
c:\vrts\catlg backup. The second one goes to removable media which is
located in the netbackup volume pool.

Anas

Ok, so your telling me your catalog backup is written to disk then??

The Catalog can be configured to write to DISK or TAPE, using the
Catalog Backup Wizard.

Is it writing to tape at all? I do not recommend storing catalog to disk
unless absolutely necessary!

I just went to the catalog configurations and it says that its
written to C:\vrts\catlg backup. Now this directory is 26GB. Now it
backs up to this directory and to tape but should this tape be copied
and sent to my remote site or what?

        Simon,

The images folder is 26GB as of now. I can add more disks into
my DL380 but I wanted to make sure that there is no problem having such
a huge file.

Can you explain how Im supposed to relocate to another file.
Would I actually be moving the older files to a newer location and then
any newer files would be added to them or just the newer files are
relocated and the older ones stay in the same place??

The guys that implemented the server are a local vendor who
really cant help that much.

Also I don't know if I have logging. The log folder is only
230MB so I don't think its that big a deal.

        Thanks for your ongoing help.
