We have 1 master and 5 media servers, all Solaris 8 & 9.
About 300 clients, mostly Windows & Solaris. We are consolidating our
policies where possible, just wondering if people have seen problems with a
high # of policies.

How many clients, types, etc.
It is a daunting task, but I would definitely run through a complete backup
assessment to define where overlap exists, and areas of consolidation.
If you don't have the time, I believe VERITAS offers those services as well
as many other consultants on this list.
