This is a multi-part message in MIME format.

Does anyone know if they fixed it so that exclude lists will work with =
multistreaming in 5? Under 4.5, Support told me (and independently =
verified) that you can't use multistream (multiplex is okay) with =
exclude lists. I did put in an enhancement request for this awhile =
back.
=20
thanks.

There's an alert - and a lot of grumpy end users - about the new =
undocumented methods in the exclude list.
=20
Basically, though, everything has to be an absolute path.
=20
No longer:
=20
*.dbf
core
=20
now you have to:
=20
/blah/blah/blah/*.dbf
/home/username/core
=20
I don't know - and let me know if this works somebody, if you can do =
this
=20
/home/*/core
=20
-M

Hi all
=20
Have just noticed that since going to 5.1, some clients are backing up =
files via filesystem schedule that are ( or were ) excluded. Have tried =
generic exclude_list file, have tried specific policy named file, =
doesn't seem to work anymore. Am I doing something wrong ?
=20
