If you use the same utility for the restore in 4.5 as you did in 3.4, xbp, then
the logs are the exact same ones in the same place.
However, if you use the Java to do the restores, then the logs are kept in
/usr/openv/netbackup/logs/user_ops/<userid>/logs/ and the have crazy names that
begin jbp and have 9 other characters (upper and/or lower case) any end with
.log
The logs have the same format, just different locations. And they are not kept
forever in this new directory. They are kept for KEEP_LOGS_DAYS number of days.

created under / in Netbackup v3.4 for v4.5MP6.
I have just upgraded from Netbackup v3.4.1 to v4.5MP6 and would like to
