Hey there All,
I'm a bit boggled by what I'm seeing when I look at the devices section on
my admin console. This is what I see:
Drive Name Type Control Recorded Media ID External
Media ID
---------------- ------- -----------
--------------------------- --------------------------
drv0 HCART ACS AA0449 AA0488
drv1 HCART ACS LI0407 AA0449
(there are 6 other drives but these are the two that seem to be crossed
somehow...)
Now when I look via ACSLS, it appears that the External Media IDs are the
correct ID's corresponding to the tapes actually in those drives....also as
far as I can tell the device mappings are correct. We are running NB4.5_fp6
on AIX. I suppose that I could take another crack at remapping all the
devices again but I've done it three times already with the same results.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
thanks,
