It's not a simple answer but in short you have to define, first, all the
drives on the Master server as shared drives.  Next you'll define each new
SSO media server as using these same shared drives on the robot attached to
the the Master server (as the robotic control host).  Each media server will
have it's local address for those drives defined in the drive setup (the
/dev/rmt/ address).  Be sure to use persistent binding on your SAN addresses
for these drives.

The GUI wizard in v4.5 makes it pretty easy - just be careful on your
addressing.  It's really easy to get the /dev/rmt numbers crossed with the
actual library address for each drive.

Hi,

Setup is SAN as shown below, with 1 Autochanger, 4 SDLT drives need to
be shared among 6  Unix Media Servers (which is part of SAN) using SSO
option in Netbackup 4.5. Master Server also exists in SAN.
Currently the backup is happening from the Master Server without any
problem.
Can you pls let me know how to configure the Media Servers so that data
is written directly to the DLT Drives existing in the  SAN.
