I don't think this is an issue with your master server being Unix, per se.
Unless I'm mistaken, NBU uses tar and BackupExec uses Microsoft Tape Format.
I'm pretty sure that you can't back up with NBU and restore with BENT.  If
you need to get a backup to someone who runs BENT, you can run a backup with
NT Backup and they'll be able to read it.  Note that I haven't used BENT
since V7 came out, so this knowledge may be outdated.

I have a problem as stated below.  I wouldn't think it would be an issue,
but is apparently is. 

I performed a backup of a WinX box using a UNIX master (ver 3.4) and sent
the tape off to one of our vendors.  They are trying to restore the data
using BackupExec (ver 8.5).

Is there an issue with backing up using Netbackup on a UNIX master and
restoring with BackupExec w/ a WinX master? 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
